Soprano Mary Gould, a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in Chicago subsequently studied in Florence, Italy with Tito Gobbi. She toured England and appeared at Scotland's Edinburgh Festival as La Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera.  Other musical theater roles include Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac and Lottie Kendal in Merry Music Hall. Operatic roles include, Violetta in La Traviata, Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, Musetta in La Boheme, Nedda in I Pagliacci, Susannah in Carlisle Floyd's Susa nnah and Princess Dilidilan in the World Premiere of The Caliph. On the concert stage Ms. Gould has sung at the Kennedy Center's Imagination/Celebration Festival, numerous concerts in New York and in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for Sheraton ITT Executive Concert Series.  She has also been a guest artist at  the Escola de Musica at the Universidade Federal in Rio de Janeiro.
Ms. Gould was raised in Brazil and has also conducted Master Classes for the Universidade Federal do Estado de Rio de Janeiro.
