Reviews
|
| The Magic Flute – Polk Theater. |
| "Brendel was clearly the most accomplished singer in the
house. The Queen of the Night has two virtuoso arias in the opera and
Brendel gave stunning renditions of both, especially the technically
demanding ‘Vengeance Aria’ in the second act. She also showed a commanding
stage presence, fairly chewing up the scenes in which she appeared." |
